National Day celebrations on 18 and 19 July 2009
At midday on Saturday 18 July we kick off with a family day at Ormond Hall, which adjoins Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone, 557 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne.
After playing some games for the young and young-at-heart (e.g.. petanque, sjoelen...) there will be a film screening and a Boombal initiation for those who like to join the latest in contemporary folk(rock) dance.. The event will also have a culture market and of course there will be plenty of Belgian food and drink to please all.
On Sunday 19 July at 12pm we continue with the Belgian Beer Experience at Belgian Beer Cafe Eureka, 5 Riverside Quay, Southbank. This is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with a variety of Belgian beers, beer foods and culture.
All are welcome to join us in our celebrations, enjoy the beer, chocolates, frietjes/frites, and waffles. Come and experience the Belgian traditions.
